It is a unique software analysis tool designed for easy administration & use and incorporates a detailed and thorough software aided analysis. RIMAP is the only Indian tool incorporating some dimensions that measures Indian Culture specificities. It scores over other similar tools by taking into consideration the Indian Perspective and having the ability to be customized according to the needs of the organization.

 

RI MAP is based on the 6 dimensions of human personality – ITRUST: Identification, Task, Relatedness, Urgency, Space Orientation and Tradition. A personality is measured on these six factors, out of which the middle four corresponds to the factors in the DISC theory. The ITRUST theory is developed by Prof. D. Sampath from his experience of more than 3 decades with various industries in India. It is relevant in the Indian context as well as in the context of developing countries. Identification measures the level to which a person identifies with his role and organization whereas Tradition measures the effect of culture on his personality.

ITRUST language is non-judgmental; there is nothing right or wrong about any behaviour. ITRUST is neutral, describing only the differences in how people approach problems, other people, pace and procedures. The ITRUST Personality Template Reports highlights the value of an individuals' unique style and offers insights and strategies to most effectively relate to other personality types

 
 

The MAPCOM has two aspects.

  • RI MAP
  • MARP

RI MAP:

The Scoring of the RI MAP gives a pattern of three graphs. These three graphs when analyzed give deep insights into the individual’s behavior. These three graphs represent three concepts. They are:

 

Identity: this measures the individual's basic (Instinct) behavioral pattern, or “What comes naturally.”

Role: This reflects the individual’s perception of his role. It reflects the area where the individual is trying to change so as to move into what he perceives is essential for the role.

Behavior. This is what the individuals exhibits and as seen by others.

This is used to measure and describe the behavioral demands of the job. The RI MAP can be directly compared with the MARP as both measure the same traits and drive and are expressed in the same terms.

The MARP is a very important aspect of the tool as we can never look at a RI MAP in isolation. RI MAP is to be looked at relative to the demands of a specific real job, in a work environment.
